Tayler is certified in safe placenta handling protocols, bloodborne pathogen prevention, and sanitation. Thus, you can rest assured that your placenta pills only contain pure placenta and are prepared in a sanitary environment with care. 

Traditional Chinese Method:

The placenta is steamed with lemon and ginger and then dehydrated and ground into a powder. 

Raw Method: 

Dehydrated immediately without steaming and ground into powder. 

You choose the method that best suits you. If you need help, Tayler will happily discuss more details about each process.

   For clients of Ohio Midwife:
If Tayler is present to assist with your birth, your placenta will leave with her. If she is absent, it will go with Emily and come directly to her. Your package will be ready for you to take home at your one-week postpartum visit in the office.

For all other clients:

Tayler will come to your home or the hospital following your birth and pick up your placenta. She will drop your package off at your home approximately one week later.

Locations within a 30-minute radius of Cedarville, OH, will be free of charge. Outside of that, a $20 travel fee will apply.

If you are having a hospital birth, please arrange this pickup ahead of time with the hospital, as paperwork may need to be completed.
